Nagpur: Youth Caught With Knife Near Akashwani Square on Ram Navami; Cops Foil Possible Crime

Nagpur: Sitabuldi police have arrested a 20-year-old man for possessing a dangerous weapon near Akashwani Square on Nam Navami, Sunday April 6.
The accused, Ankush Sunil Kalsahit, a resident of Binaki, was found sitting on a motorcycle (MH 49 BT 7315) in a suspicious manner. Upon interrogation, he attempted to flee but was caught. A search led to the discovery of a sharp iron knife worth approximately Rs 200 in his possession.
Police suspect he was planning a cognizable offence. A case has been filed under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act. Further investigation is in progress.
