Nagpur: The Sakkardara Police have arrested a notorious history-sheeter identified as Aslam Khan alias Bhuriya Dawood Khan (43) for violating an externment order issued against him earlier this year.

Police said that around 2.30 pm on October 13, 2025, while patrolling in Rani Bhosale Nagar near Shitla Mata Mandir, the team received information about the presence of an externed criminal in the area. Acting on the tip-off, officers reached the spot and spotted the accused attempting to flee. He was chased and apprehended.

Upon verification, it was revealed that DCP Zone 4 had issued externment order No. 06/2025 dated July 16, 2025, prohibiting Aslam Khan from entering Nagpur city and rural limits for two years. Despite this, he returned to the area without permission and was allegedly planning another offence.

Based on a complaint lodged by police constable Rupchand Jaipurkar, an offence has been registered under Section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act, and the accused has been arrested. Further investigation is underway under the supervision of PSI More.
