Nagpur: Gittikhadan Police have registered a case against unknown burglars following a theft reported from a residential house in Dabha area.

According to police, between 7 am on December 13, 2025, and 2.15 pm on December 15, 2025, the complainant, Kishor Pralhad Bhande (44), a resident of Plot No. 184, Shivhare Bhorarka Housing Society, Dabha, had locked his house and left for Amravati along with his family.

During his absence, unidentified thieves allegedly broke open the main door lock, gained entry into the house, and stole gold and silver ornaments worth ₹4.42 lakh, which were stored inside a wooden bed in the bedroom.

Based on the complaint, a case has been registered at Gittikhadan Police Station under Sections 305(a), 331(3), and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against unknown persons. Further investigation is in progress.
