Ajni Police Crack GMCH Copper Theft Case, Apprehend Juvenile Offender in Nagpur

Nagpur: The Ajni Police have solved a significant theft case involving the stealing of electrical construction material worth ₹4.5 lakh. The incident occurred between May 20 and 21, 2025, near Ward No. 21 behind the fire pump room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) premises.
The complainant, Milind Madhukar Bhoyar (44), had stored 140 bundles of MM wire and copper earthing strips at the under-construction site. On receiving information about a theft in progress, security guards apprehended a 16-year-old juvenile in conflict with the law along with two accomplices.
Acting on the complaint, the Ajni Police registered an FIR under BNS Sections 303(2) and 62.
