22-Year-Old Youth Dies After Bullet Bike Loses Control and Crashes into Auto at Ravi Nagar in Nagpur

Nagpur: A 22-year-old youth died after his motorcycle lost control and crashed into an auto-rickshaw near an auto stand in Ravi Nagar under the Ambazari police station limits on Friday afternoon, police said.


The deceased has been identified as Harsh Subhash Vishwakarma (22), a resident of Seminary Hills, Gupta Chowk, Surendragadh area in Ambazari.


According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30 pm on March 6 when Harsh was riding his Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle (MH-31-FV-6715) near Agrasen Bhavan Auto Stand in Ravi Nagar.


During the ride, he reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, which rammed into an auto-rickshaw parked at the auto stand. The impact left him seriously injured and unconscious.


Local residents immediately rushed him to Sengupta Hospital, from where he was later shifted to Mayo Hospital for further treatment. However, doctors declared him dead during treatment.


Based on a complaint lodged by auto-rickshaw driver Tanaji Dayaram Wanare (38), a resident of Jaynagar, Pandhrabodi, Ambazari, Assistant Sub-Inspector Meena Barange of Ambazari Police Station registered a case of accidental death.


Further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
