Nagpur: Hingna Police have booked four individuals, including the company owner and project engineers, for causing death due to negligence after a worker fell to his death while working at Vitally Water Ventures Private Limited in Hingna.
On June 7, between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM, Shubham Sukhdev Date (30), a resident of PawanSut Nagar, Ramanamroti, Nagpur, was working on the tin shed of Vitally Water Ventures Private Limited at Plot No. 2, Kini Juniwani Road, Hingna. While working at a height, he lost balance and fell. He was rushed to Shalinitai Meghe Hospital and later transferred to Medical Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on June 23 during treatment.
Following an investigation, it was found that the company failed to provide necessary safety measures, leading to the fatal accident. Based on a complaint filed by Sukhdev Vishnu Date (64), the victim’s father, police have booked Vikas Sisoriya, owner of JC Green Energy Infrastructure Ltd., Mumbai; Pritam Premdas Bhaisare, Project Co-Op Auditor, Nagpur; Anikya Vijay Thawale, Site Engineer; and Ankit Mukudwar, Nagpur.
The accused have been charged under Sections 304(A) and 34 of the Bharatiya Dand Vidhan (BDV) for causing death due to negligence. Hingna Police are continuing their investigation.
