Nagpur: A viral video of youngsters engaging in rash driving on Hingna Road has prompted swift action from the city’s Traffic Police. Authorities have imposed a hefty fine of over ₹23,000 on each of the five vehicles involved.
Additionally, the parents of the offenders were called in, and the youngsters were made to submit a written apology in their presence.
As part of corrective measures, the offenders were also given a two-hour course on traffic rules by the Road Safety Patrol (RSP) wing of the Traffic Branch at Traffic Park.
DCP Traffic Archit Chandak has issued a stern warning against reckless driving and hooliganism on the roads, emphasizing that such behavior not only endangers the drivers themselves but also poses a threat to others.
The police have reiterated their commitment to ensuring strict action against traffic violators to enhance road safety.
