Nagpur: Police have registered a case against Pathway Business Consultancy and three Pune-based individuals for allegedly cheating Ezyspit Solutions Pvt Ltd of ₹2 crore by promising to secure government projects for the company.

The complaint was filed by Ritu Bharat Malhotra, 31, director of Ezyspit Solutions Pvt Ltd, which was established in 2019.

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly assured Malhotra and other company directors that they could help the firm obtain projects under government schemes. The accused allegedly submitted purportedly forged documents in connection with the projects and collected a total of ₹2 crore from the company.

However, the promised projects were allegedly never secured, following which Malhotra approached the police and alleged that the accused had financially cheated the company.

The accused have been identified as Pathway Business Consultancy, having an office at Kohinoor B, Chinchwad, Pune; Rahul Gopalrao Siraskar (41) of Pimpri, Pune; Rohit Damodar Randad (40) of Pimpri-Chinchwad; and Ankush Harikisan Agrawal (42) of Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Police have registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Further investigation is underway.
