Nagpur: An unknown thief broke into an office in Bajiprabhu Nagar, Ramnagar, under the jurisdiction of Ambazari Police Station, and stole cash amounting to ₹3,60,932.

According to the complaint lodged by Ritesh Ramesh Jaswal (45), a resident of Sahakar Nagar, Nagpur, his office, Sangam Spirits Pvt. Ltd., was closed between April 20 (8:00 pm) and April 21 (10:00 am) as he was out of town. During this period, an unidentified thief broke the lock of the office door, entered the premises, and forcibly opened the iron cupboard inside the accounts department, stealing the cash kept in a container.

Upon returning on April 25, Jaswal discovered the theft and immediately filed a complaint. Based on his report, Assistant Police Inspector Jadhav registered a case under Sections 305, 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. Further investigation is in progress.
