Nagpur: A 35-year-old man died during treatment nearly 12 days after suffering serious head injuries in a road accident on Kamthi Road, under Kapil Nagar Police Station limits.
The incident occurred around 8.30 pm on August 14 near Mohammad Ali Petrol Pump on Kamthi Road.
According to police, Alim Nabi Ansari, 35, a resident of Yashodharanagar, was travelling towards Kamthi on his motorcycle when a cow suddenly came in front of his vehicle.
Ansari reportedly lost control of the motorcycle and fell on the road, sustaining severe injuries to his head. He was rushed to Neuron Hospital for treatment.
Despite undergoing treatment, his condition remained critical. On August 26 at around 5.05 pm, doctors examined Ansari and declared him dead.
Following information received from the hospital, Kapil Nagar Police registered an accidental death case.
