Major Upgradation Work of Nagpur Railway Station Progressing Rapidly on Both East and West Sides

Nagpur: The major upgradation work of Nagpur Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is advancing swiftly, with significant milestones achieved on both the East and West sides of the station.


East Side Developments:

EW1: Basement to terrace floor slab casting has been completed. Internal finishing and MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) works are currently in progress.


EW2: Terrace floor slab casting is completed. Internal finishing and MEPF works are ongoing.


EW3: All utility shifting works have been completed. Excavation and foundation work is 95% complete, and basement slab casting has reached 35%.


West Side Developments:

WW3 (Phase-I): Basement work is completed and internal finishing is underway.

WW3 (Phase-II): Basement slab casting is 90% completed.


WW4: Structural slab casting from ground floor to terrace level has been completed. Beam erection up to the terrace level is finished. Internal finishing and MEPF works are in progress.


These developments mark a significant step forward in transforming Nagpur Railway Station into a world-class facility offering enhanced passenger amenities, improved infrastructure, and modern aesthetics.


Central Railway remains committed to delivering the upgraded station as per schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to regular operations while accelerating construction pace.
