Nagpur: Jarpitka Police have successfully cracked a robbery case, apprehending four individuals involved in the crime.
The incident occurred on January 11, 2025, around 9:50 PM, when the complainant, 55-year-old Ghanshyam Aildas Vaswani, was returning home after closing his shop at Gandhibagh. He had ₹1.5 lakh in cash and bills placed in a bag.
While on his way near Bachhawani’s residence in Jarpitka’s Indra Colony, a man stepped in front of his vehicle, causing Vaswani to stop. The man then demanded the bag, and when Vaswani refused, he attacked him with a hand-held object. Three accomplices arrived, and one of them stabbed the complainant in the stomach with a knife, severely injuring him. They snatched the bag and fled the scene.
Following the complaint, the Jarpitka Police filed a case under Section 311 of the BNS. The investigation team, using technical methods, traced the vehicle used by the suspects and apprehended the primary accused Vicky Narendra Dhuwari (19), Sujal Anand Patil (22), and a juvenile.
Upon interrogation, they identified two more accomplices, Rishabh Agarwal (25) and Yash Gondane (24), who were arrested in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The vehicle, a Splendor Plus motorcycle (MH 31 CJ 5511), was seized during the operation.
