Nagpur: Dr. Dilip Bhujbal officially assumed the role of Inspector General of Police (Range IG) for Nagpur Zone on Thursday. Bhujbal's extensive career includes a posting as Deputy Divisional Officer in 2004, and positions as Sub-Divisional Officer in Nagpur Rural and Superintendent in Gondia, Buldhana, and Yavatmal.

In addition, he has served as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Mumbai Police and brought significant reforms to the Police Training School in Sangli. Upon taking up his new position, Dr. Bhujbal emphasized that resolving complaints will be his top priority. He assured that the police force will be encouraged and motivated to perform effectively, and strict action will be taken against those who commit crimes.
