Nagpur: The Crime Branch Unit 2 of Nagpur Police has solved two vehicle theft cases reported from Pachpaoli police station limits by detaining a juvenile in conflict with law and recovering stolen two-wheelers worth Rs 1.10 lakh.

The first theft occurred on December 11, 2025, between 6 pm and 8 pm, when complainant Aryan Anil Gajbhiye (24), a resident of Yashodharanagar, had parked his Splendor motorcycle worth Rs 60,000 at the parking area of Nari Metro Station in Pachpaoli after locking it. Upon returning, he found the vehicle missing. Based on his complaint, Pachpaoli police registered a case under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against an unknown accused.

During the course of parallel investigation, Crime Branch Unit 2 conducted a technical probe and, acting on reliable information, detained a juvenile. During interrogation, the juvenile confessed to stealing the motorcycle from Nari Metro Station. Further questioning revealed his involvement in another vehicle theft within Pachpaoli limits, where he had stolen a black Splendor motorcycle valued at Rs 50,000.

Police recovered both stolen two-wheelers, collectively worth Rs 1.10 lakh, from the juvenile’s possession. The juvenile, along with the seized vehicles, has been handed over to Pachpaoli police for further legal action. Further investigation is ongoing.

The successful operation was conducted under the guidance of Police Commissioner Ravindrakumar Singhal, Additional Commissioner Navinchandra Reddy, Additional CP (Crime) Vasant Pardeshi, DCP (Detection) Rahul Maknikar, and ACP (Crime Branch) Abhijeet Patil, with active participation from the Crime Branch Unit 2 team.
