Amit Shah to Grace Inauguration of 161-Foot Hanuman Idol in Koradi in June 2026

Nagpur: Amit Shah is set to attend the inauguration of the country’s tallest 161-foot Hanuman idol in Koradi, Nagpur district, scheduled for June 2026. The announcement was made by Maharashtra Revenue Minister and Nagpur Guardian Minister Chandrashekar Bawankule, who personally met the Union Home Minister in New Delhi to extend the invitation.


According to the post shared by Bawankule on Instagram, a grand 161-foot-tall statue of Lord Hanuman is currently being erected at Koradi. The towering structure is expected to be the tallest Hanuman idol in the country and is being described as a symbol of faith, strength and cultural pride.



Monument to Become Spiritual Landmark



The minister stated that the divine project is nearing completion and the formal inauguration ceremony will be held soon. During his meeting, Shah reportedly accepted the invitation with warmth and confirmed his availability to attend the historic event in June 2026.


Bawankule expressed gratitude to the Union Home Minister for agreeing to be present at the ceremony and said that the occasion would mark a significant moment for Nagpur district. He also conveyed hope that, with the blessings of Lord Hanuman, the inauguration would be conducted in a grand manner and that Koradi would emerge as a major spiritual destination for devotees from across the country.


The upcoming unveiling of the 161-foot idol is expected to draw large numbers of devotees and visitors, further strengthening Nagpur’s position on the religious tourism map of Maharashtra.
