Nagpur: An unidentified man, aged around 55, lost his life after being hit by a train on the Kalamna-Khaparkheda railway line in the early hours of Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

The incident occurred around 12:50 AM when the man, dressed in a blue-and-white striped shirt and black full pants, was struck by a passing train. Severely injured, he was rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Following a medical report, Sub-Inspector Fad of Kalamna police registered a case of accidental death. Further investigations are underway to establish the man’s identity and the circumstances leading to the accident.
