Taxi driver robbed at knifepoint near VR Mall in Nagpur

Nagpur: A taxi driver was assaulted and robbed at knifepoint outside VR Mall at Medical Square in the early hours of February 1.
Darshan Yadav had arrived around 1.45 am to pick up a passenger when a car (MH/49/CL/0536) allegedly reversed into his vehicle. When Yadav confronted the occupants, he was abused and beaten by the driver and three accompanying youths.
The assailants reportedly held him at knifepoint and robbed a gold chain worth ₹3 lakh before fleeing.
Based on Yadav’s complaint, the Imamwada police registered a robbery case.
