Nagpur: Tehsil Police have registered a case against a woman for allegedly forcing her 17-year-old stepson into sexual relationship, making inappropriate advances towards him and threatening to implicate him in a false criminal case after he repeatedly rejected her alleged behaviour.

According to police, the 17-year-old victim is a first-year Bachelor of Arts student who has been living with his stepmother following the deaths of both his parents. His biological mother passed away several years ago, after which his father remarried. A few months later, his father also died, and the teenager was left in the care of his stepmother.

Police said the woman allegedly began making inappropriate advances towards the boy and repeatedly pressured him to have sexual relationship with her. Whenever he refused, she allegedly abused and assaulted him.

The accused is also alleged to have threatened the teenager with false criminal charges if he continued to reject her advances. Fearing the consequences, the boy eventually shared his ordeal with his aunt.

When the aunt confronted the woman over the allegations, she too was allegedly abused. The aunt then took the teenager to Tehsil Police Station, where a complaint was lodged.

Based on the complaint, Tehsil Police have registered a case against the accused woman and initiated an investigation. Further probe is underway.
