Nagpur: A security guard stationed at a scrap shop in Nandanvan was brutally attacked by unidentified assailants in the early hours of Saturday, June 14. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local area and prompted swift police action.

The victim has been identified as Abdul, who worked as a night security guard at the shop. According to police sources, Abdul was attacked around 2 am on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday by unknown miscreants. He sustained grievous injuries in the assault.

Upon receiving information, Nandanvan police personnel arrived at the scene and rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). A case of attempted murder has been registered at Nandanvan Police Station.

Police have launched a manhunt to trace the accused, and efforts are underway to examine CCTV footage from the vicinity and question locals to identify potential suspects.
