Nagpur: In a major reshuffle of senior IPS officers across Maharashtra, Nagpur has received three new Additional Commissioners of Police — Pravin Patil Vasant Pardeshi and Rajendra Dhabhade. The transfer orders were issued on Friday, May 16.
Pravin Patil, who previously served in Pune, and Vasant Pardeshi, who held the post of Additional Commissioner in Pimpri Chinchwad, have now been assigned to Nagpur.
Meanwhile, the current Additional Commissioners of Police in Nagpur — Sanjay Patil, S T Rathod, and P P Shewale — have been transferred. As per the official notification, Sanjay Patil has been moved to Pune, S T Rathod has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) of the Narcotics Task Force, and P P Shewale has been posted as IG of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in Mumbai.
The reshuffle is part of the state government’s routine administrative movement aimed at strengthening law enforcement across Maharashtra.
