Nagpur Police Arrests 19-Year-Old for Harassing Minor Girl in Shantinagar

Nagpur: Shantinagar Police arrested a 19-year-old man, Arbaaz Nasir Khan, a resident of Mahesh Nagar, Nayapura, for allegedly stalking and sexually harassing a 14-year-old girl.
According to the FIR filed by the girl’s 66-year-old grandmother, the accused had been persistently following her granddaughter and sending her inappropriate messages via mobile phone. On July 4 around 3:30 pm, Khan allegedly followed the minor against her will and sent her obscene messages, thereby outraging her modesty.
Based on the complaint, PSI Borade registered a case under Section 78 of the BNS and relevant sections of the POCSO Act, and arrested the accused. Further investigation is underway.
