Nagpur: A 37-year-old woman has been booked by Imamwada police for allegedly forcing her 18-year-old daughter to comply with the demands of a loan shark after claiming that she had borrowed money from him.

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly took her daughter along on the pretext of going to college and then told her that she had taken money from a person. She allegedly instructed the girl to go to the person and do whatever he asked.

The girl further alleged that a few days earlier, her mother had forcibly made her record a nude video, taken her nude photographs and allegedly sent them to another person.

The victim also alleged that her mother threatened to kill her or harm herself if she disclosed the matter to her father.

After the girl informed her father about the alleged incidents, the accused reportedly left the house at around 5 am on April 1, 2026.

Based on the complaint, Imamwada police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including sections related to voyeurism and trafficking. Police are investigating the allegations and the role of the other person.
