Duo recently had a baby, accused arrested

Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old man allegedly attacked his wife on suspicion of infidelity. The incident was reported on Tuesday afternoon in the Mohannagar area under the Sadar police station limits.

The accused, Aditya Ukey (25), has been arrested, while the victim, Muskan (19), is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

According to police sources, Aditya works at a private firm and had an arranged marriage with Muskan. However, over time, he began suspecting her character. The couple often got into arguments. Four months ago, Muskan gave birth to a baby girl, but Aditya allegedly failed to overcome his suspicions.

On Tuesday, Muskan was using her phone when Aditya again grew suspicious and got into an argument with her. In a fit of rage, he allegedly attacked her with a kitchen knife. Profusely bleeding, Muskan was rushed to a hospital. The Sadar police were alerted, responded quickly, and registered an offence.

Aditya has been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
