New Delhi, November 3: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Monday announced the results of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) September 2025 examinations for the Foundation, Intermediate and Final levels. Candidates who appeared for any of the three exams can now access their results and online marks statements on the official websites — icai.org and icai.nic.in.
In this session’s results, L Rajalakshmi emerged as the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the CA Foundation examination, while Neha Khanwani and Mukund Agiwal secured the first ranks in the Intermediate and Final levels, respectively.
According to ICAI data, the CA Foundation September 2025 exam witnessed the participation of 98,827 candidates, out of which 14,609 cleared the exam — marking a pass percentage of 14.78%.
At the Intermediate level, 1,59,779 candidates downloaded their admit cards. Of them, 93,074 appeared for Group I and 69,768 for Group II.
- Group I: 8,780 candidates qualified, recording a 9.43% pass rate.
- Group II: 18,938 cleared the exam, with a 27.14% success rate.
- Among 36,398 candidates who appeared for both groups, 3,663 passed, translating to a 10.06% overall pass percentage.
For the CA Final September 2025 examination, 51,955 candidates appeared for Group I, of which 12,811 cleared the exam, registering a 24.66% pass rate.
In Group II, 32,273 candidates appeared and 8,151 qualified, with a 25.26% pass rate. Among 16,800 candidates who attempted both groups, 2,727 cleared the exam — recording a 16.23% overall pass percentage.
The ICAI said the results reflect the continued commitment of candidates to the rigorous CA curriculum and the professional standards of the institute. The merit lists for all three levels have been published on ICAI’s official portals.
