Nagpur: Wadi Police have registered a case against an employee of an e-commerce logistics hub for allegedly stealing company shipment items worth over ₹3.32 lakh.
The complainant, Prakash Ratilal Shah (65), a resident of Pune and an enforcement officer with Instacart assigned at Flipkart, stated that the theft occurred at the company’s hub located on Katol Bypass Road, Wadi.
According to the complaint, the accused, Deep Rupchand Gadge, employed as a sorter at the Wadi hub, allegedly stole multiple shipment items between July 5, 2025, and November 8, 2025. The stolen goods, valued at ₹3,32,838, were misappropriated for personal financial gain, amounting to a breach of trust.
Based on the complaint, Wadi Police registered an offence under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Further investigation is in progress.
