Nagpur: The Nagpur Division of Central Railway successfully commissioned the 3rd line connectivity at Tadali Yard on 01 October 2024 at 19:50 hours. This new line will enhance operational capacity and ease traffic congestion in the Tadali region, a significant junction for rail movement.

The first train, 12296 Exp, passed through the newly commissioned line in the downward direction at 19:58 hours on the same day. The safe passage of the train marked the effective utilization of the newly laid infrastructure.

Safety certification for the 3rd line connectivity was duly obtained from the concerned railway authorities prior to commissioning, ensuring that all safety protocols and operational standards were adhered to.

This development is part of Central Railway’s continuous efforts to improve rail infrastructure and ensure better service to passengers and freight operators. The addition of the 3rd line at Tadali Yard will significantly contribute to smoother and more efficient rail operations both coaching and goods.
