Nagpur: Pardi police have registered a case of burglary after unidentified thieves broke into a house and stole valuables worth ₹2,87,900, including property registration documents.
The incident took place on January 1, 2025, between 4:45 am and 6:30 am, at Plot No. 193, Jai Ambenagar, Bhandewadi. The complainant, Gautam Likhiram Verma (55), had locked his home and gone to Kalamna Market with his family to buy vegetables. Upon their return, they discovered the main door lock broken.
The burglars entered the bedroom, opened a drawer in the iron almirah, and made off with ₹1,73,000 in cash, gold and silver jewelry, and original property registration papers.
Cops have launched an investigation and are working to identify and apprehend the culprits.
