Nagpur: Amid rising temperatures and intensifying heatwave conditions, Nagpur has reported another suspected heatstroke-related death, after an unidentified man was found unconscious near the MIHAN flyover.
The incident occurred on April 28, 2026, under the jurisdiction of Sonegaon Police. The man, estimated to be between 45 and 50 years old, was discovered lying in an unconscious state beneath the flyover. He was immediately rushed to AIIMS Nagpur, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
While the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed, officials suspect heatstroke as a possible reason, given the extreme weather conditions prevailing in the city over the past few days.
