Nagpur: Nagpur is hosting the prestigious All India Police Duty Meet 2025–26, a national-level event that tests the investigative and technical capabilities of police forces across the country. The meet, being held from March 31 to April 3, has drawn participation from police personnel representing 26 states and central armed forces.
Results of several competitions conducted between March 31 and April 1 have now been announced, highlighting excellence in various policing skills.
Office Automation Competition: Tamil Nadu Tops
Under the Computer Awareness – Office Automation category:
- Sub-Inspector Mathiyazhagan from Tamil Nadu Police secured first place
- Constable Azaruddin from Uttar Pradesh Police secured second place
- Havaldar Rajan Kumar from Indo-Tibetan Border Police secured third place
A total of 25 participants competed in this 30-minute individual event.
Anti-Sabotage Check: Telangana Dominates
In the Anti-Sabotage ‘Room Search’ category:
- Constable A. Bhadru Naik from Telangana Police won first place
- Sub-Inspector Ramanamurthy from Andhra Pradesh Police secured second place
- Constable Sandeep Pandav from Maharashtra Police secured third place
In the team category, Telangana Police secured first place, followed by Andhra Pradesh Police, while Maharashtra Police finished third.
Scientific Aid to Investigation: Telangana and Tamil Nadu Excel
In the Scientific Aid to Investigation category:
- Telangana Police dominated the Medico-Legal oral test, with Sub-Inspector J. Naveen winning gold, Sub-Inspector P. Jayaprakash Goud securing silver, and Sub-Inspector K. Radhika Yadav winning bronze.
- In the Criminal Investigation, Laws, Procedures, and Judgments segment, Tamil Nadu Police led the competition, with Inspector R. Hariharasugan winning gold.
- In the Forensic Science written test, Soundarapandi A. (gold) and P. Akash Kumar (silver) from Tamil Nadu Police secured top positions.
Programming Ability: Telangana Leads Team Event
The Programming Ability (team event) under Computer Awareness saw participation from 48 contestants representing 24 states in a 60-minute contest.
- First place: Telangana Police team (RSI M.V.S.N. Reddy and Inspector G. Ganesh)
- Second place: Border Security Force team
- Third place: Indo-Tibetan Border Police team

Awards Distributed by Police Commissioner
Winners were awarded medals and certificates on April 1 at the Police Training Centre in Nagpur by Dr Ravinder Kumar Singal, Commissioner of Police.
The ceremony was attended by Principal Reena Janbandhu of the Police Training Centre, Superintendent of Crime Branch Pallavi Barge, and other senior police officials.
