Nagpur: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 29-year-old man near Annex Hotel, Somalwada Chowk here, on Sunday, October 20. The incident occurred between 3:50 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the jurisdiction of Sonegaon Police Station.

The decease has been identified as Arjun Narendra Kedia, a resident of Sai Krupa Apartment, Manish Nagar.

According to the police report, Arjun Kedia was returning home on his Activa scooter (Registration No. MH 32 W 3666) when he lost control of the vehicle near Annex Hotel at Somalwada Chowk on Wardha Road. He fell onto the road and collided with a Jeep Compass four-wheeler (Registration No. MH 31 GA 0407) approaching from behind. The impact caused severe head injuries, leaving Arjun critically injured.

Passersby rushed him to Viveka Hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Based on a complaint filed by Arjun's younger brother, Nakul Narendra Kedia, 26, Sonegaon Police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is on.
