Nagpur: An unidentified man aged around 30 to 35 years was found seriously injured and unconscious near a railway track in the Beltarodi police station area on March 4.

According to police, the man was spotted at around 9:45 pm near the Up railway line pole number 826/09 close to the police chowki. After being found in a critical condition, the police team rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (Medical Hospital), Nagpur for treatment.

However, doctors declared him dead during treatment.

Based on information provided by Akash Rambhau Raut (34), a resident of Khapri Railway Station area, PSI Ravikant Bhadane of Beltarodi Police Station has registered a case of accidental death.

Police are currently working to identify the deceased and ascertain the exact cause of death.
