Nagpur: A minor dispute over a public urinal took a violent turn in Dattatreya Nagar on Monday afternoon, when a man was allegedly attacked with a sword, leaving him critically injured. The incident has sparked concern among local residents.

As per initial reports, an argument broke out between individuals near a public urinal, which soon escalated into a serious assault. The accused allegedly used a sharp weapon to attack the victim, causing severe injuries. The injured man was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors have described his condition as critical.

Sakkardara police reached the scene soon after being alerted, conducted a spot inspection and began collecting evidence. Statements of eyewitnesses are being recorded, and efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the आरोपी.

Police said a case will be registered based on the victim’s statement, and further investigation is in progress.
