Nagpur: In a significant move to support project-affected families, the Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), in collaboration with the Nagpur District Collector’s Office, conducted a Plot Allotment Program for residents of Shivangaon.

The initiative, led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, aims to ensure dignified rehabilitation and promote sustainable urban development.

As part of the MIHAN (Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur) project, MADC has developed a well-planned rehabilitation layout featuring 1,500 plots in Chinchbhavan. The layout is equipped with modern civic amenities, ensuring improved living conditions for the relocated families. The project, with an estimated investment of ₹66 crore, underscores the Government’s commitment to inclusive growth and infrastructure advancement.

During the recent event held at the Conference Hall of the Central Facility Building (CFB), MIHAN SEZ, 185 families were allotted plots through a transparent lucky draw system. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to CM Devendra Fadnavis for his efforts in ensuring their rightful rehabilitation.
