Nagpur: Lakadganj police traced a 12-year-old boy who had gone missing from the Azamshah Chowk-Bujade Mohalla area within just 12 hours, ensuring his safe recovery.

According to police, the boy, identified as Rip Ismail Sheikh, 12, a resident of Azamshah Chowk in Bujade Mohalla, had gone missing from the Lakadganj police station area. After receiving information about the missing child, police immediately launched a search operation considering the seriousness of the matter.

The Lakadganj police station’s Detection Branch (DB) team conducted searches at various locations and made sustained efforts to trace the boy. Their efforts resulted in the child being located within 12 hours. He was subsequently taken into safe custody.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of PI Mukund Kawade by PSI Deepak Pokale, Head Constable Ganesh Thakur, and constables Muddassir Sheikh, Vinod Tiks, Kunal Masram and Suraj Madavi.

The prompt response by the Lakadganj police helped locate the missing minor within a short period and reunite him safely with his family.
