Nagpur: A tragic hit-and-run incident in the jurisdiction of Hingna Police Station has claimed the life of a 45-year-old man, prompting police to register a case against an unknown vehicle driver.

Victim Dies During Treatment at AIIMS Nagpur

The deceased, identified as Gangadhar Rajaram Dudhkavar, was returning home from work on his motorcycle (MH-40 CA-3369) on March 30 between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM.

Near Suretech Hospital bridge on Wardha Road, an unidentified vehicle allegedly hit his bike at high speed and fled the scene without offering help.

He was rushed to AIIMS Nagpur, where doctors declared him dead.

Case Registered Against Unknown Driver

Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, Vikesh Dudhkavar, police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Motor Vehicles Act.

Authorities are currently investigating the case and attempting to identify the accused.
