Nagpur: The Kapil Nagar police have registered a case of accidental death after an unidentified man was found unconscious near the roadside close to Wednesday Bazaar Square on the route leading to Uppalwadi Post Office.

According to police, around 7 am on November 5, 2025, a passerby spotted the man lying in an unconscious state and alerted authorities. The man, aged approximately 35 to 40 years, was wearing a coffee-coloured shirt, black vest, blue underpants, and black trousers. He had a ‘heart with S and M initials’ tattoo on his right hand and an ‘Om’ tattoo on his wrist.

The man was immediately rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Following the medical report, API Dhokne of Kapil Nagar Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Efforts are on to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the exact cause of death. Further investigation is underway.
