Nagpur: The body of an unidentified man, aged approximately 40 to 45 years, was found floating in water near the Barad Hanuman Temple in the Kalamna area, close to Pawangaon, on November 20 at around 1:20 pm.
Upon receiving information, Kalamna Police, with the assistance of the fire brigade, retrieved the body from the water. It was subsequently sent to Mayo Hospital for further investigation.
The deceased is described as having a sturdy build, a height of 5 feet 4 inches, and black and white hair. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt with the number “23” and the word “Chicago” printed on the right chest, black lower pants, and blue underwear. He also wore metal rings on four fingers of his right hand and one finger of his left hand. Additionally, a thread was tied around his waist.
Based on a report filed by Uttam Ganpat Ninave, aged 44, a resident of Plot No. 1745, Kudnalal Gupta Nagar, Nagpur, the Kalamna Police have registered a case of accidental death. Further inquiries are underway.
