Nagpur: Kapil Nagar Police have apprehended a 25-year-old man carrying a sharp weapon in the Mhada Colony area. Acting on a tip-off, a police patrol team spotted the suspect roaming suspiciously at around 8:20 PM on Thursday, March 27.

As soon as the man noticed the police, he attempted to flee but was swiftly chased down and detained. The accused, identified as Aryan Ishan Indurkar (25), resident of Mhada Colony, Kapil Nagar, Nagpur, was found in possession of sharp iron knife worth ₹200.

The police believe he was carrying the weapon with the intent to commit a serious crime and had violated prohibitory orders. Consequently, an FIR under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act was registered against him. Further investigations are ongoing.
