Nagpur: Hudkeshwar Police have apprehended a 29-year-old man for allegedly outraging the modesty of a 17-year-old girl in a residential locality under their jurisdiction. The incident took place while the girl was walking home on foot.

According to the police, the accused, identified as Hitesh Dharmaraj Bhagat (29), a resident of Hudkeshwar, stopped his two-wheeler in front of the girl and attempted to engage her in conversation. When she refused, he allegedly molested her. 

After reaching the home, the victim narrated her ordeal to mother. Following which they approached Hudkeshwar Police Station with a complaint. Acting swiftly, cops registered an offence and arrested the accused.
