Nagpur: A case of house burglary has been registered at Wathoda Police Station after thieves broke into two adjoining homes in Ramkrishna Nagar, Dighori, Wathoda, and stole valuables worth ₹1,32,500.
According to police, the complainant Aniket Shivaji Bhosale (32), along with his father-in-law, had gone to Chhattisgarh with family between June 3 at 2:30 PM and June 4 at 8:30 AM. During this time, unknown burglars broke open the main locks of both houses.
From Bhosale’s residence, thieves stole ₹50,000 in cash, gold ornaments, and a mobile phone. From his father-in-law’s house, ₹5,000 in cash was stolen. The total stolen property is valued at ₹1,32,500.
Based on the complaint, Wathoda Police have registered a case under Sections 305, 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS.
