Burglary Case Registered as Thieves Steal Valuables Worth Rs 3.65 Lakh in Wathoda, Nagpur

Nagpur: Wathoda Police have registered a burglary case after unidentified thieves broke into a house near Azad Nagar’s Samaj Bhavan and stole valuables worth approximately Rs 3.65 lakh.


The incident occurred between December 31, 2024, at 7:15 pm, and February 4, 2025, at 10:00 am, when the complainant’s parents were away in Jabalpur. The burglars broke the lock and latch of the main door and gained access to the bedroom, where they looted Rs 2.5 lakh in cash and gold and silver ornaments.


The complainant, Mohammad Rafiq Mohammad Hanif (47), a resident of Motha Tajbagh near Sarwar Baba Dargah, lodged a formal complaint at Wathoda Police Station.


Wathoda Police registered the case under Sections 305(A), 331(4) of the BNS. The police are conducting further investigations to identify and apprehend the suspects.
